Sarge von Staitz is a striking looking 2 year old German Shepherd. Here’s a handsome bigger boy who is ready to show you how smart he is and how much he already knows.  He's also one of our dog-friendliest males, and has even done well meeting small dogs and cats! Sarge is housebroken, knows his sit, down, stay and paw; and even though he's extremely fond of treats, he accepts them gently. He is quickly learning not to pull on leash and that walking right next to his handler is an excellent position to take. He is happy to meet canine walking partners and trots along nicely with a group of dogs. Perhaps his favorite activity so far is being off-leash in the play yard.  He's very sociable and ready to meet and mingle with everyone there and find out what his new canine friends are up to. He's currently sharing space at the rescue with several dogs, male and female, and doing great. This hunk is eager to please and eager to add to his already impressive skill set.
